FAQ

I want an intervention for substance abuse, do you do those?

My approach is crisis management for all members of the family and I lead with empathy and understanding. The goal is to make sure each family member is heard and they are educated about the treatment, family dynamics and healthy boundaries. I will help you navigate the very complex system of substance abuse and mental health.

Do you help with mental health interventions?

Yes. I use the same format as substance abuse crisis management.

What ages do your work with?

I work with professionals, young adults and teenagers.

Will you come to my home?

Every situation is different, that will be discussed during the phone consultation.

How long will you be on the case?

My services are short term. Once the patient is admitted to a facility or declines treatment, my role ends. If you wish to engage further services, that will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

If my loved one declines treatment, do I get a refund?

No. There are times the alcoholic/addict is not ready to get sober or enter treatment. My fees are not contingent on the outcome or decision of the family.

When can I call you? What if it is an emergency?

My hours vary and this will be discussed before the contract is signed. There are times I can answer the phone and times I am unable. If there is emergency, call 911 for immediate response. Safety is number one priority.

How much do you charge?

Each situation is different and may require more or less work. Please call to discuss the price.
